IRC Tool Spotlight: Powtoons

AUGUSTA, GA. – Teachers are constantly looking for new and effective tools that can captivate students, can bring life to a lesson and foster learning. Powtoon is a tool that can do just that. Powtoon is an online cloud-based software program that allows you to create animated and professional looking presentations.

This tool provides teacher with an alternative to traditional presentation software that may seem overused and monotonous to a student. Powtoons provides students and teachers a way to create an animated video as well as upload their own photos, add background music, sounds and voice overs.

For more information on this free online tool, check out their website: www.powtoons.com or stop by the Instructional Resource Center.
