Literacy Summit releases program

The GRU Literacy Center, in partnership with the CSRA Reading Council, will host the Literacy Summer Summit June 12-14 on the Summerville campus of Georgia Regents University. The program – including a list of available Professional Learning Units – is now available. Click here to view the program.

Open to educators, parents, students, and school and community leaders, the summit will feature Dr. Maria Carbo, founder and executive director of the National Reading Styles Institute. The institute is a research-based educational organization dedicated to improving literacy.

Registration is $49 before June 2, and $59 after June 2. Each participant will receive a digital training program valued at $279. Scholarships are available to interested GRU students.
