Dean to speak to state representatives at national conference

Dr. Cindi Chance, Dean of the College of Education at Georgia Regents University, has been invited to speak to the Advisory Council of State Representatives in a session titled “Reforming Educator Preparation: Perspectives from State Chapter Leaders” during the 2014 State Leaders Institute in Washington, D.C. in June.

Chance will discuss her involvement in the initiative to transform teacher preparation, through the Network for Transforming Teacher Preparation, the CAEP State Alliance and the CEEDAR initiative. All initiatives have the purpose of redesigning policies, curriculums and programs governing teacher preparation.
