Jennifer Jones was recently elected to the undergraduate Student Government Association at Augusta University.
Jones is a senior education major from San Juan, Puerto Rico. She is thrilled to join the Student Government Association for her first year as a senator representing the College of Education.
‘I love Augusta University, and for me, my decision to become a Senator of SGA was an easy one. I wanted to contribute to the University in a lasting and positive endeavor,” Jones said.
She is active in several academic organizations, including Augusta University Special Education Club, Kappa Delta Epsilon, and the National Leadership Honor Society. As a senator, she looks forward to learning how the university makes decisions for the betterment of the students and staff, and to working with like-minded individuals who have a common interest to improve student experience and college life.
