College collaborates on Student Service Members Day

AUGUSTA, GA. – The College of Education partnered with Augusta Military & Veteran Services to celebrate our student military service members through Student Service Members Day on Sept. 22.

Augusta Mayor Hardie Davis issued a proclamation declaring Sept. 22 Student Service Members Day, and the university celebrated with a ceremony that included keynote speaker Stephanie Merrill, chief strategist for public-private partnerships at NSA GA.

Jessicca Wolf, active duty green to gold military science student, also spoke about her experiences. A reception followed. Click here to enjoy photos of the event.
