University hosts Walk 2 Remember fundraiser

AUGUSTA, GA. – Augusta University kicked off the second annual Walk 2 Remember, a 24-hour walk-a-thon, on Nov. 10 on the Summerville campus. More than 100 walkers dedicated themselves to circling the campus – some with patriotic displays of flags and banners – to recognize the sacrifice and dedication of our veterans.

Proceeds from the event, which is sponsored by the Augusta University Ranger Club and Military and Veterans Services, benefitted the Augusta Warrior Project. College of Education faculty and staff helped to plan and participated in the annual walk.
