Center manager will present at international conference

AUGUSTA, GA. – Jennifer Armstrong, manager of the College of Education’s Instructional Resource Center at Augusta University, has been selected to present in the Google Teaching Theater at International Society for Technology in Education Conference and Expo on June 27 in Denver, Colo.

Armstrong will present “Digging into Data with Snazzy Spreadsheets” to a diverse group of educators. The ISTE represent almost 16,000 educators coming from 76 countries around the world, and nearly 2,000 will attend ISTE 2016.

“From Individual content proficiency to test score trends to comparing performance between different groups of students, data collection and analysis has become a large part of the job of most educators,” Armstrong said. “The ability to utilize a spreadsheet can make this part of an educator’s job easier. This session will focus on simple strategies to use Google sheets to analyze data.”

Armstrong holds an Ed.S. in Instructional Technology from the University of West Georgia and is a Google for Education Certified Innovator and Google for Education Certified Trainer
